Shawn C. O'Neil
The Full Story
United States Marine Corps
At 17, Shawn C. O'Neil enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Assigned MOS 0311 — Infantry — he served from 1997 to 2001. The Marine Corps didn't teach him discipline. It revealed what was already there.
Tactical Explosive Detector Dog Handler
After the Marines, O'Neil continued serving in the Army National Guard (2008–2014). He trained as an 11B Infantryman and was selected for the Tactical Explosive Detector Dog (TEDD) handler program at Vohne Liche Kennels — one of the premier K-9 training facilities in the world.
The program was featured on National Geographic's Alpha Dogs. O'Neil deployed to Afghanistan as a combat K-9 handler.
Operational Discipline Applied
Transitioning from military service, O'Neil applied the same operational discipline to business. As Regional Director at ISI (International Services Inc), he became a turnaround specialist — rebuilding broken operations across multiple states.
This led to fractional CMO/CRO consulting at $595/hour, working on-site with companies that needed operational truth, not corporate buzzwords.
The Fortitude Ecosystem
Today, O'Neil is building the Fortitude Ecosystem — a network of 43+ domains, 18+ AI agents, and integrated revenue systems spanning coaching (Fortitude Life by Discipline), capital management (Black Haus Capital), motorsports (Hauling Ass Racing), transport (H&N Hauling), publishing (Doctrine of Discipline series), and philanthropy (Serenity House Foundation).
The ecosystem is designed to compound returns and outlive the founder.
Not motivation — doctrine.
The Governing Code
Discipline is doctrine. Systems matter more than people. Legacy outlives the builder. What is not systemized does not endure.
